Three overs later wicketkeeper VG Nair (2) departedwhen he offered a catch to P Raju off Dhandapani. Then S Ramakrishnan(25), CM Shyam (10), S Mathen (34) tried to hold the fort. But withRamakrishnan retiring hurt and PV Rajesh being absent hurt, the Keralainnings folded up at 223.Tamil Nadu enforced the follow on but the Kerala batsmen stood theirground well the second time around. Opening batsmen CM Deepak (36) andC Sanju (29) put on a sedate 34 runs in 17.2 overs.
